This year's Section Conference has the potential to be one of the greatest in the Section's history. The members of Osceola Lodge along with other Scouts and Scouters from Southwest Florida Council having been working diligently to get Camp Flying Eagle prepared for you!

Many improvements have been made to the camp property including the construction of a new centrally- located bathhouse with hot water, improve-ments to campsite latrines and pavilions, and a new amphitheater designed to accommodate up to 1500 people.

  “A Cheerful Heart is Lively”...Derived from the Pre-Ordeal ceremony, “A cheerful heart is as lively as bow wood under hardship”, this phrase is especially appropriate for the 2008 Section Conference. Camp Flying Eagle has undergone many hardships over the last several years and the last time that a section conference was held at this site was in 1992 when Eckale Yakanen lodge was still in existence. Sixteen years later, the camp is experiencing a renaissance and Osceola Lodge is providing cheerful service to this end.
